August 29, 2010 by Temogen Amato · Leave a Comment

1. Update the pages on your website frequently.Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last update

2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.< ?xml:namespace prefix ="" o />

Why Do Most Local Business Websites Fail?

March 11, 2010 by Temogen Amato · Leave a Comment

Local Business owners are usually unhappy with the results that their website is bringing in. Isn’t the purpose of a website to bring in new business, get leads and make money?

WELL…IT SHOULD BE http://bit.ly/bE66do

The Problem: Many Local Businesses use their website as a static business card. But does your website get leads, sell products/services or create a mailing/customer list for you?

Most of the local business owners I ask…tell me NO…that they don’t like their website and that it is not generating leads or making money for them.

5 Ways To Build Your Blog Email List

January 7, 2010 by Mark G Roberts · Leave a Comment

Are you building a list of email subscribers on your blog?

If not, why not?

Even though RSS (Really Simple Syndication) usage is growing, you’ll still find a majority of your readers prefer email (unless you’re in a very technical market).

You have probably heard, “The money is in the list.”
This isn’t entirely true. The money is in your relationship with the list.

I watch my email subscriptions very closely to see how different posting schedules affect my subscriptions, open rates, and sales. For example, in the past few months it’s become very obvious that my best open rates for blog emails are for posts titled, “5 Ways to…” or “3 Steps to…”

7 JVs That Are Not Used Much (Part 1 of 2 Parts)

August 25, 2009 by Mark G Roberts · 1 Comment

The cheapest and easiest way to promote your product is through joint ventures. Make use of other people’s lists, other people’s relationship with their customers, and other people’s traffic. When you want to promote your product, the easiest way to get out there is to set up 50/50 deals with list owners that sell to your target market (this method is so powerful it’s often in your benefit to even do the deal even if you have to give up 70% or 80% of the money to the list owner).

Here’s a special treat for those of you that actually read our posts. I have put together  Tons of Joint Venture Ideas in PDF. I usually sell it for $17.00. You get it free, just for reading our posts. Joint Venture Tips

That’s a basic joint venture. Today I want to share you a few other ways you can profit from other people’s traffic and lists without using the “normal” joint venture.

Very Useful Keyword Research Tool

August 4, 2009 by Temogen Amato · Leave a Comment

The most common way that PPC Marketers create a profitable Adwords Campaign (although in my opinion, not the most effective) is to start off with hundreds or even thousands of keywords along with 5 or 10 ad variations, set up sales tracking to see which ones create sales and make the most money, then scrap the ones that don’t until they’re left with a group of high converting words and ads that make consistent profits.

Search through all the Adwords listings until you find someone advertising the same product, make note of the URL, go to your Keyword Spy account, type in the domain name and see which keywords they are bidding on.

Then create your own promotion and then literally copy the keywords and ads (making a few changes to the ad copy to avoid any trouble) and start making some money pretty quickly.

What Are TheTwitter Busy Times?

July 22, 2009 by Temogen Amato · 1 Comment

You will get most of your twitter referrals between 1pm and 2pm and then again between 3-4PM Pacific Time. I also do well between 11-12 noon.

  • Twitter users are most active on Wednesday
  • The best day to tweet in order to get retweets is Monday and Wednesday
  • The best time to tweet in order to get retweets is 5AM-4PM

Posting any time from 9am to 4pm will give you the best chance of getting exposure and traffic from twitter.

You could be cutting your chances of getting exposure on twitter in half depending on when you post your tweets.

    Keyword Density

    July 22, 2009 by Mark G Roberts · Leave a Comment

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. But mind you, keywords shouldn’t be over used, but should be just sufficient enough to appear at important places.

If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line, then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam site.

Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.
